Help & FAQs

Are there times during the day when the prices that derive my portfolio may sometimes appear inaccurate?

Yes. Prices shown on our website are delayed by 15 minutes throughout the day; however, this process is affected at the end of the day by the various stocks closing auctions. When the market closes, the order books are rebalanced and the uncrossing prices are picked up during the auction and fed into the portfolio. This process should be completed no more than 10 minutes after the market has closed, but these prices will be shown in your portfolio 15 minutes later, e.g. 16:45-16:55: we would expect the final closing price to be shown by 5pm. There are also similar auctions at the market open and also at mid-day (these only last for a couple of minutes; again portfolios will show these prices 15 minutes later. So, again, they should be correct by 08:20/12:20.
