Help & FAQs

Why do you ask for bank statements and certified documents when I open an account or change my bank details?

There are a number of reasons why we require supporting documentation. As the majority of our business is carried out online we have to carry out due diligence, verify the identity of every customer prior to opening an account and comply with Anti-Money Laundering Regulations. This is why it is important that you give us accurate information and the original documentation requested.

For the purposes of verifying your identity and the details you have submitted as part of the application process, we undertake a search with companies which provide identity and bank account verification services. Only if we are unable to validate your information through these services will we ask for documentary evidence.

NOTE: For further information on our acceptance criteria for documentation please see ‘How can I change my Bank Details
