Help & FAQs

Why has my dividend not reinvested?

If a dividend does not reinvest:

  • Check the facility is set correctly on your account.
  • Confirm the type of dividend - Special Dividends may not be reinvested. You can reinvest the monies by placing a trade or setting up a Regular Investment for the equivalent amount.
  • Check the total amount of dividend received is enough to cover the cost of at least one share, including commission and any other charges.

If you are still unable to confirm why your dividend has not reinvested, contact our Selftrade Customer Experience Centre team via secure message or telephone 0345 0700 720 to confirm the investment is eligible.
