What happens if I fail the Appropriateness Assessment?
A message will be displayed advising you that we have been unable to determine that you have the necessary knowledge and experience to trade in complex instruments. Please contact our Customer Experience Centre if you wish to acknowledge the warning and continue with the trade at your own risk if you deem this the correct course of action. Alternatively, you can choose not to continue with the trade, in which case the Appropriateness Assessment will have to be undertaken at your next attempt to purchase a complex instrument.
